Postural Care training opportunities

Free RCOT approved course.

We offer a FREE Postural Care course accredited through the Royal College of Occupation Therapists, tailored for qualified health professionals, including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, TVN’s and Nurses. Led by our specialist Physiotherapist Rosie Bartlett MCSP SRP and Postural Care advisor Phil Mackey, the course focuses on "Minimising the Risk of Pressure Ulcers and Managing Contractures."

The course consists of six modules, with each module featuring a pre-recorded session followed by a live Q&A session. Upon finishing the course, you will receive a certificate along with 6 CPD points.

Free Family & Carer Workshops

Designed to give families and carers an understanding of the basic principles of good positioning.
With this knowledge and the on-going support of the therapists involved, we find that successful outcomes are within everyone’s grasp. For some years now, Symmetrikit Postural Care Workshops have provided families, carers, and staff with a solid introduction to 24Hr Postural Care skills.
